Humbled
This week I have been humbled by someone younger and perhaps more mature than myself. I needed to talk to this person about something and in so doing I was humbled. So often when confronted with a problem most people, including myself will try to make excuses for our mistakes and failures. We try to justify why we do the things we do even though we know they are wrong. In talking with this person there was no attempt to try and make excuses or justify their actions, but only a genuine desire to correct the problem. My respect for this person continues to grow each time we talk and God continues to use this person in my life to show me my weaknesses. It's encouraging to me to be around people who care more about doing what is right and following God than pursuing their own selfish means. May God continue to change heart!
